EC 101: Donations, Payments and Fees
1. What forms of payment does Endless Crowd accept for donations?
Supporters can contribute to a Project on the Website through WePay or with a credit card. WePay will charge an additional transaction fee of about 3% on each and any payment transaction. Payments made by credit card are debited from the contributor's card immediately. Some payments by credit card may enter the process of analysis, which normally occurs for very high contributions. Such contributions must be validated to prevent fraud.
2. When is a donation charged to a contributor's account?
Ordinarily, payments made by credit card are debited from a contributor's card immediately.
3. What is Endless Crowds fee for providing a platform to launch and marketing my campaign?
Endless Crowds will automatically deduct a 6% fee from each donation you receive. If you don't receive any donations, then you won't pay anything at all. Since our fee is deducted from each donation in real-time, you'll never need to worry about getting billed or owing us any money. Your donors are NEVER charged fees. Remember, Endless Crowds is the BEST fundraising solution available and all those extra donations you collect should more than make up for the fee.
4. Will contributions made on the last day of the campaign be considered?
The project deadline is simply the deadline to initiate a transaction. When the project reaches the end of the campaign, the status will remain "pending” for 3 more days, to accept contributions made in the last days of the campaign.
5. When do I receive my money?
Funds contributed via credit card are held by Endless Crowds until the end of your campaign. Your funds are disbursed directly to your PayPal account within 15 business days of the end of the campaign, assuming your account information is complete and valid. You will receive a confirmation e-mail when funds are initiated for disbursement. Project creators may be charged third party fees and wire transfer fees as applicable when funds are disbursed to the project creator via channels other than PayPal.
6. Why might a supporter’s donation not show up the website immediately?
A payment made by a bank takes several working days to be computed on the site and the name of the supporter to appear. This is the time it takes for the bank to confirm the transaction for us. Rest assured, the payment will be added. If a payment has not been posted within 7 business days, please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org for advanced troubleshooting.
